24 October was UN Day – marking the entry into force of the UN Charter in
1945, 70 years ago. The IARF has a long history of involvement with the UN and the Economic and Social Council, one of its most important instruments. In 1972 IARF gained consultative status with ECOSOC. We currently have two representatives in Geneva and one in New York (you can see their profiles here). Can a purpose for religion be deduced?

This ethos, promoting altruism, drives human survival and outlines initiatives like the Unitarian Universalist Association’s commitment to transforming the world through liberating love, addressing global ills such as hate, greed, and social inequalities.
