24 October was UN Day – marking the entry into force of the UN Charter in 1945, 70 years ago. The IARF has a long history of involvement with the UN and the Economic and Social Council, one of its most important instruments. In 1972 IARF gained consultative status with ECOSOC. We currently have two representatives in Geneva and one in New York (you can see their profiles here). You can read more about IARF’s involvement with the UN, both historic and current, in the United Nations section of our website.
