Description
The Buddhist concept of impermanence is the ultimate reality of all things, encompassing both the invisible and visible, the mental and physical, the individual and collective, the living and non-living, the microcosmic and macrocosmic, and so on. Typically, impermanence is regarded as the law of change. However, the impermanence that the Buddha observed is far different from the changes that we ordinary people understand. When the true meaning of impermanence becomes realized, freedom and calmness of mind manifest in our daily lives. Zoom URL:https://us04web.zoom.us/j/8099882717ID: 8099882717 Passcode: 195052
I am Michinori Maruta, a member of the IARF Japan Chapter and Rissho Kosei-kai, a lay Buddhist movement in Japan. I am now retired from the headquarters of Rissho Kosei-kai after serving as the minister of RKK of Pacifica, CA, USA, and RKK Hakodate, Japan. My main activity is to hold Buddhist teaching sessions in Zoom and post various articles on the Buddha Dharma through SNS.I hope to contribute to bridging Theravada Buddhism and Mahayana Buddhism as I believe that Shakyamuni Buddha preached only the Dharma, the truth. Also, I am delighted to be part of the Free Religion Institute, which I am convinced possesses great potential for human liberation and freedom.
