A Discourse of Matters Pertaining to Religion

Description

Theodore Parker’s account of religion, inspiration, Christianity, the Bible, and the church, published in Boston by Charles C. Little and James Brown in 1842. This is the 504-page Boston edition, distinct from the shorter London printing of 1846.

The facsimile includes the preface, contents, errata, introduction, five books with their chapters, and conclusion. Navigation follows those original divisions. The main text runs through printed page 504; preliminary, blank, and library leaves bring the scan to 541 pages.

Source: Internet Archive / Google Books scan. Freeman and Bolles, named on the copyright leaf, were the printers.
