Theodore Parker’s reflections on religion and human life, translated into German by Dr. Johannes Ziethen. This is the second edition, published in Leipzig by Ernst Julius Günther in 1871.
Its ten sections address piety, truth, justice, love, religious cultivation, strength, joy, sacraments, and communion with God. The volume documents the circulation of Parker’s religious writing in German translation; it does not by itself establish influence in the opposite direction.
This facsimile contains the 349 page images exposed by the Google Books source, including the continuous main text, pages 1–324. Navigation follows the original contents.
