Motivational Dialogue #2: "Sudden Chaos, Creeping Chaos" with Betsy Darr

Last Saturday we held the second meeting in our new series of Motivational Dialogue Sessions. These are online meetings where a speaker talks for ten to twenty minutes on a topic to inspire reflection and conversation. This time the speaker was Betsy Darr, the President of our US Chapter and a climate activist. She spoke about how the experience of the pandemic, or the sudden chaos as she put it, may impact how we deal with the creeping chaos - climate change. We are very grateful to Betsy for sharing her thoughts and knowledge with us.

We are extremely happy that over 70 people from three continents and more timezones than I can deal with without a piece of paper took part in the conversation. The interest in the meetings has surpassed our expectations, and we will certainly continue the series. You will here from us soon about the next one.

Obviously, we had some technical problems at the beginning, but we’re getting better and better with every meeting and try to be diligent about learning from our mistakes. So thank you for your patience and the helpful feedback we received, and we promise with each meeting the experience will get better!
