Karel Hendrik Roessingh (Groningen, 11 March 1886 – Leiden, 29 October 1925) was a Dutch Remonstrant theologian and, from 1916, professor of philosophy of religion, ethics, and the encyclopedia of theology at Leiden University. His 1914 dissertation, De moderne theologie in Nederland, is the first full account of how modern theology emerged in the Netherlands, and he followed it in 1922 with Het modernisme in Nederland.

Roessingh was one of the most active figures in Dutch liberal Protestantism in the early twentieth century. A co-founder of the Woodbrookers movement in the Netherlands and of the Vrijzinnig Christelijke Studenten Bond, he worked in international interdenominational liberal circles, and was involved in church and social questions as well as theology. He died suddenly at 39; Gerrit Jan Heering edited his Verzamelde werken (1926–1929) and wrote the introductory account of his theology.
