At the heart of the IARF lies a vibrant community of volunteers, members, and generous donors, including our Trustees, International Council (our Board) Members, and dedicated individuals from our member organizations and chapters. We employ one person part-time, our Secretary, who assists our volunteers and Board Members in technical, editorial, legal and planning matters. As a Charity Incorporated Organization based in the UK, our commitment to fostering liberal religion, religious freedom, interfaith and intercultural dialogue and education is only possible through the work and support of people like you.

The IARF offers multiple pathways for engagement through its membership options, catering to organizations, associations of individuals in a country called Chapters and individual members. If you represent an organisation that would like to become a member, please visit this page.

Individuals are encouraged to join a Chapter. Currently, the IARF has Chapters in the USA, the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, Japan, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Kenya.

If there is no Chapter in your country, or if you wish to support IARF with an additional recurring donation, you may become an individual member. Please fill in this form and pay the annual membership subscription using one of the links on the right. The dues are 20 GBP, 23 EUR or 25 USD annually.

We are always on the lookout for passionate individuals willing to contribute their time and skills. Whether it’s helping with publications, organizing events, engaging in our emerging Institute for the Study of Liberal Religion programme, supporting our work at the UN, managing and enhancing our website and community platform, seeking new allies in liberal religious movements, or any other valuable assistance you can offer, your involvement is crucial to our success. Your financial support is equally important, serving as our primary source of income. We welcome all contributions, big or small, and provide various means for donations, including bank transfer, Stripe, and PayPal. If you encounter any issues with these methods, do not hesitate to contact us at luke@iarf.net for assistance. Additionally, for those residing in the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, the USA, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Kenya, consider donating to our local Chapters. Not only will you be supporting IARF’s mission within your country, but you may also benefit from tax advantages, as most Chapters are registered as charities.
