About the Author
Bernard Victor Aloysius Röling (1906–1985) was a Dutch jurist, Groningen professor, and pioneer of polemology. He served as a judge at the Tokyo war-crimes tribunal and contributed an article on war and peace to the May 1962 IARF Digest.
