Our Priorities
The principles expressed in the United Nation's Universal
Declaration of Human Rights (Article 18) guides our work and
activities:
|
Everyone has the right to freedom
of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes
freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom,
either alone or in community with others and in public
or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching,
practice, worship and observance. |
To ensure that these rights our upheld, the International
Association for Religious Freedom has developed a statement
of purpose which outlines our priorities and, from these guidelines,
has focused its work on 5 practical programme areas.
