IARF Leadership
An International Council of 16 members, representing numerous faith groups, guides the work of the organisation. The International Council is elected every four years by delegates from the Member Organisations and Chapters. Groups are accepted into membership by the Council, which meets annually. (Applications may be obtained from the Secretariat by email: hq at iarf.net.) Members hold periodic Anual General Meeting, the last was in Florida in 2007. At the administrative level, regional coordinators initiate and support regional and local projects, while the International Secretariat in Osaka, Japan, monitors religious freedom concerns and administers worldwide programmes.
