Gujarat Project Outcomes

This project was able to take place thanks to the generosity of two IARF member organisations. It is hoped that the cooperation and support that has taken place amongst the two villages, Muslim and Hindu, will be viewed in a positive light by other areas of Gujarat. In fact, there have already been interesting experiences. Many villagers and people from the nearest town, came to the final ceremony of the project. Since the tragic events that have occurred in Gujarat, the villagers involved with the project have stated that the collaborative work they have carried out together is now of even greater significance.

Nationally and internationally, the young adults are already considering how they can be involved further. They hope to contribute to our global network of young people committed to addressing religious freedom issues and to promoting interfaith harmony and understanding in their area.
