THE INTERFAITH CENTURY was the theme of a conference
to held at the Ramada Resort in PALM SPRINGS, California,
from Thursday Evening, January 16—Sunday Afternoon,
the 19th 2003. Featured speakers included HUSTON SMITH,
distinguished author of the best-selling The World’s
Religions, (two million copies sold). ROBERT TRAER, the
former General Secretary of the IARF and an important
scholar of religious liberty. RICHARD KELLAWAY reported
on the Budapest Congress and led discussion on the issues
and concerns related to religious freedom and responsibility.
The traditional IARF circle groups were able to meet outside
in the January sunshine. |
